DTV Transition Update |
Now that the DTV transition has
taken place there are some updates
and general information that you
should be aware of.
The following program updates are effective immediately:
The DTV Coupon Program has now
ended. No more converter coupons
will be accepted. We do still have
digital converter boxes for sale
but we will no longer accept the
government coupons.
Applications for Replacement and New Coupons
The Coupon Program is no longer
accepting applications from
consumers for new or expired Digital
Converter Coupons. If you do not
have a valid coupon you will need to
pay full price for your Digital
Converter Box. There is no way for
any retailer to extend expired
coupons or issue new ones.
Smart Antenna Compatible
Converter Boxes
There are a select few Digital
Converter Boxes that are Smart
Antenna Compatible. If you purchase
a Smart Antenna such as the
DTA-5000 and do not have a Smart
Antenna compatible converter box
then your antenna will not work.
Televisions with built-in digital
tuners are not compatible with
digital smart antennas either. If
you are interested in purchasing a
smart antenna compatible digital
converter box then please check out
the
Tivax STB-T8.
